Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Morgan Pontillo, MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC
Morgan Pontillo, MSN, PMHNP, is a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Nursing and Industrial Biochemistry from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Morgan brings a diverse clinical background with experience in inpatient behavioral health, crisis stabilization, and structured outpatient programming. She has served as Program Manager for Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), overseeing clinical operations, leading psychoeducational groups, conducting staff training, and supporting quality and compliance initiatives. Her background also includes direct patient care and supervisory roles in inpatient psychiatry, where she collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, central intake, and community partners to support high-acuity and crisis populations.
Morgan is known for her collaborative, individualized approach to care, emphasizing strong therapeutic relationships, active listening, and personalized treatment planning aligned with each patient’s goals.
She has a particular interest in medication management for patients with depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and other trauma-related conditions. She enjoys working with individuals navigating complex or co-occurring conditions and values helping patients achieve symptom stability, improved functioning, and long-term wellness through thoughtful, evidence-based pharmacologic care.

Outside of her professional role, Morgan is married with two young children, a boy and a girl, and embraces an active family-centered lifestyle. She enjoys reading, watching football with a strong loyalty to the Buffalo Bills, and is an avid fan of the Harry Potter books and films.

Kirsten Bowers, MSN, CRNP, PMHNP-BC
Kirsten Bowers, MSN, PMHNP, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals across the lifespan. She takes a holistic approach to mental health, focusing on understanding each patient’s unique experiences and supporting a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, mood changes such as bipolar disorder, attention and focus difficulties (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive patterns (OCD), and stress-related challenges.
Kirsten earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University. Her clinical training includes extensive outpatient experience providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individualized treatment planning for children, adolescents, and adults.
Kirsten brings a strong clinical foundation with experience in outpatient behavioral health and over five years as a psychiatric registered nurse. She has provided high-volume psychiatric care, including comprehensive evaluations and medication management, while incorporating evidence-based practices to support patient outcomes. Her experience includes developing individualized treatment and crisis plans, managing complex mental health conditions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, effective care. A strong emphasis is placed on patient safety, with a focus on thoughtful, attentive care that supports both emotional well-being and clinical stability.

Mindy McKinzie, LPN, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a diverse background in both clinical care and leadership. As a Licensed Practical Nurse in a telepsychiatry practice, she plays an integral role in supporting patient care and operational efficiency.
Mindy contributes across multiple areas of the practice, including technical support, billing, administrative coordination, and new patient onboarding. She is often the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth, welcoming, and organized intake process while helping individuals navigate telehealth systems with ease.
With experience in both hands-on clinical settings and leadership roles, Mindy brings a well-rounded perspective to her work. Her ability to manage complex workflows, support team operations, and maintain a patient-centered approach makes her a valuable asset to the organization. She is known for her reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality support to both patients and providers.
Outside of her professional role, Mindy is married to her husband, Allyn, and they have two adult sons. She is enjoying her role as a first-time grandmother and values time spent with her growing family. Mindy is a strong advocate for her son with autism and is passionate about supporting individuals with special needs. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her closest friends on girls’ nights out, and unwinding with her guilty pleasure—watching Real Housewives shows.
